Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Outpatient
Schedule: ~4.5 Days per Week | Monday – Thursday (No Evenings, Weekends, or Hospital Call)
An established, physician-owned dermatology practice in Arkansas is in search of a skilled Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team at the expanding second clinical office.
Operating solely on an outpatient basis with no hospital affiliation requirements, this role provides a high level of operational independence while under the direct guidance of a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Responsibilities include managing an active outpatient patient load, performing skin evaluations, medical dermatology treatments, and regular procedural care within a supportive, multi-site clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and medical treatment of various dermatologic conditions at the designated clinic site
- Routine dermatologic procedures like skin biopsies, lesion evaluations, cryotherapy, and minor excisions
- Conduct comprehensive full-body skin examinations, cancer screenings, and patient education on prevention
- Managing daily patient volume autonomously with collaboration from supervising physician when necessary
- Ensuring complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in the practice EMR
- Working closely with clinical support staff for efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Arkansas or eligibility for immediate state licensure
- Formal training under a Board Certified Dermatologist
- 1 to 2 years of dedicated dermatology practice experience
- Ability to practice independently and manage clinic workflows effectively
