We are seeking a CNC Service Engineer in Minneapolis, MN!

We are excited to partner with a leading CNC Machine Tool Distributor in their search for skilled CNC Service Technicians. As a CNC Field Service Technician, you will have a key role in supporting customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites across MN, WI, SD, ND, and neighboring regions for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify areas for performance enhancement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Utilize technical documentation and support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete and submit service reports accurately and promptly.
• Ensure customer expectations are met with professionalism and technical expertise.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay updated on new technologies and product developments through training and seminars.
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in repairing or maintaining CNC machinery.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25% throughout the designated territory.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with customers and colleagues, even under pressure.
