We are excited to collaborate with a leading CNC Machine Tool Distributor in search of talented CNC Service Technicians. As a CNC Field Service Technician based in Menomonie, WI, you will be a key player in providing maintenance and repair services for CNC machine tools, ensuring they operate at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites in MN, WI, SD, ND, and nearby areas to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and identify areas for performance enhancement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues concerning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Use manuals, technical documents, and support resources to tackle complex problems.
• Communicate equipment status, repair details, and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete service and installation reports accurately and promptly.
• Deliver on customer commitments with professionalism and technical proficiency.
• Develop and nurture positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients.
• Stay updated on new technologies and product innovations through continuous training and seminars.
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machinery repair and maintenance.
• Familiarity with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Solid grasp of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities with a keen eye for detail and technical precision.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to 25% within the designated territory.
• Capable of maintaining professionalism and effective communication in high-pressure situations with customers and colleagues.
