As an integral part of our manufacturing department, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality precision components. Here is an overview of your responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely load and unload raw materials.
- Ensure strict tolerance adherence by utilizing various measuring instruments and gages.
- Optimize setup and machining times through process improvement initiatives.
- Thoroughly inspect finished work using different measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain and clean company equipment through daily and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Contribute to the organization and upkeep of our Machine Shop.
- Adhere to AS9100 requirements and strict safety procedures at all times.
- Provide valuable feedback for continuous process improvement.
- Train and support newer team members by sharing your manufacturing process knowledge and expertise.
- Optimize machining processes by performing geometry, tool wear offsets, and program edits.
- Accurately track and record job progress in written and electronic formats, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure exceptional standards by following all quality policies and instructions.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience of 3-5 years with CNC Swiss lathes, showcasing expertise in the field.
- Strong ability to accurately interpret mechanical drawings.
- Proficient knowledge and application of different CNC controls, including M and G code.
- Ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss machines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and self-sufficiency.
- Comfort with mathematical calculations to ensure precision in machining processes.
