Our client is looking for a meticulous and customer-oriented Retirement Plan Consultant to contribute to their expanding retirement plan practice in Farmington Hills, MI. This position is perfect for an efficient professional who thrives in a team setting, handles administrative tasks competently, and provides exceptional service to clients and participants.
Job Duties:
- Assisting with various administrative tasks, including data entry in CRM, monitoring service delivery for existing clients, scheduling meetings, and updating client information.
- Preparing reports and documents for client meetings.
- Responding to inquiries from participants and plan sponsors.
- Serving as a point of contact for retirement plan partners like M Financial and TPAs.
- Participating in participant education programs.
- Identifying potential leads for retirement plans and other products and passing them to the appropriate advisor.
- Supporting special projects as needed.
Skills:
- Understanding of ERISA, IRS, & DOL regulations.
- Strong customer service abilities with a focus on building client relationships.
- Excellent work ethic and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in technology and quick to learn new systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Required Credentials & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years working with Retirement Plans, particularly 401(k) plans.
- Prior experience collaborating with Record-keepers, TPAs, and financial advisors.
- Proficiency in basic software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting performance goals.
Preferred Credentials & Experience:
- Experience with 3(21) and 3(38) fiduciary service and quarterly deliverables.
- Securities License (series 6 & 63).
- Basic knowledge of investment principles.
