Location: Coon Rapids, Iowa
Salary: $65K-100K plus bonus
Job Summary:
The Facility Manager will oversee the daily operations of a small 20-person facility. This hands-on leadership role involves managing a team of site technicians to ensure peak efficiency and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage people, processes, and external partners.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor site technicians, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
- Coordinate work schedules and task assignments for consistent operational uptime.
- Conduct team check-ins, performance reviews, and on-the-job training for technical capacity building.
- Oversee monitoring and maintenance of facility performance.
- Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Monitor environmental conditions and direct corrective actions.
- Maintain operational logs and incident reports.
- Enforce site safety policies and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct safety walkthroughs and implement corrective measures proactively.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for inspections and audits.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of technical operations experience with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience managing teams in an industrial setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; technical degree a plus.
