On-site Technician in Nashville, TN

NOTICE: Applicants must have existing eligibility to work in the United States.

Provide maintenance services for medical laboratory equipment, including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers, on behalf of a manufacturer of medical lab instruments. Candidates with recent experience in Field Service within the Medical Device industry are preferred. This role involves servicing automated robotic lab equipment in the greater Nashville, TN area. Competitive base salary of $65K - $85K based on experience, with overtime and performance bonuses adding up to an additional $4K - $10K annually or more, plus a Company Vehicle. A strong background in electronics and troubleshooting, as well as previous experience working with medical lab equipment or devices, are required.

Please Note: No relocation is available. Ideal candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the greater Nashville, TN area.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or related discipline
• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Willingness to travel overnight
• Minimum of 3 years as a field service engineer
• Preferred experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation
• This role requires vaccination against COVID-19

Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation
• Building strong customer relations
• Collaboration on problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Management of car inventory, including tools and trunk stock
• Providing on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation
