Job Description: On-site Technician

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking an On-site Technician to service and maintain medical laboratory equipment for a leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. The ideal candidate should have current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry. This role involves servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Dallas, TX area. A strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting is required. The candidate should reside within a reasonable commute of the greater Dallas, TX area, as no relocation is offered.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline
• Good experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Willingness to travel overnight
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus
• COVID-19 vaccination is required

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation
• Establish and maintain good customer relations
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain inventory of car tools and trunk stock (parts)
• Provide basic on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation

Benefits:

• Base salary of $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
• Overtime and performance bonus can add an additional $4,000 - $8,000 annually (or more)
