Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, train, and supervise the Quality Assurance Technicians and assigned team members
  • Educate employees on various quality control techniques
  • Lead process improvement teams using lean enterprise techniques
  • Ensure quality requirements are met for all products and programs
  • Review engineering documentation and verify specifications
  • Analyze inspection data, identify areas for improvement, and conduct root cause analysis
  • Collect material samples and conduct inspections to identify product conditions
  • Analyze production and inspection data to determine product conformance
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures
  • Collaborate with product service and warranty personnel to address manufacturing quality problems
  • Implement and manage a supplier quality assurance program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of quality experience, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
  • ASQ Certification preferred
  • Experience with metal fabrication and strong QA methodology skills
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
