Responsibilities
- Direct, coordinate, train, and supervise the Quality Assurance Technicians and assigned team members
- Educate employees on various quality control techniques
- Lead process improvement teams using lean enterprise techniques
- Ensure quality requirements are met for all products and programs
- Review engineering documentation and verify specifications
- Analyze inspection data, identify areas for improvement, and conduct root cause analysis
- Collect material samples and conduct inspections to identify product conditions
- Analyze production and inspection data to determine product conformance
- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures
- Collaborate with product service and warranty personnel to address manufacturing quality problems
- Implement and manage a supplier quality assurance program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
- 5+ years of quality experience, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
- ASQ Certification preferred
- Experience with metal fabrication and strong QA methodology skills
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
