Responsibilities

  • Lead projects focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing operation (65% of time)
  • Coordinate, design, and develop manufacturing processes using tools such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, and capability analysis
  • Work on capital projects and determine ROI
  • Support production and maintenance operations
  • Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in all departments
  • Apply ergonomics requirements to improve work safety
  • Mentor, train, develop, and evaluate team members as required
  • Help develop and drive production metrics
  • Communicate projects and progress to all levels of the company

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, preferably with strong continuous improvement background
  • Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo)
  • Experience with analytical tools (DOE, FMEA, SPC)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Prior project management experience is highly desirable
  • Prior capital project experience is helpful
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and value stream mapping is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff

Salary: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
