FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Service Engineer
Location: Fremont, CA
We are seeking a Service Engineer to service medical laboratory equipment, including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers, for a leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Preference will be given to candidates with current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation. It is essential that you currently reside in the GREATER FREMONT or SAN JOSE CA area as relocation is not available. Additionally, strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation
- Establishing strong customer relations
- Coordinating problem resolution within the Field Support Group
- Maintaining car inventory, including tools and trunk stock
- Providing on-site training on company instrumentation operation
Qualifications:
- Preference for a Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline
- Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to travel overnight
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus
- COVID-19 vaccination required
