On-Site Support Technician - Nashville, TN

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for a leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Preference will be given to candidates with current or recent experience in Field Service within the Medical Device industry. The role involves servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Nashville, TN area, requiring a strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

No Relocation: Applicants must reside within a 0.5-hour commute of the greater Nashville, TN area.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Significant experience in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to undertake overnight travel as necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Coordinating problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintaining car inventory, including tools and trunk stock (parts).
• Providing basic on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation.

• Base salary of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience (overtime and performance bonus may add an additional $4,000 - $8,000 annually).
