Job Opening: Dental Hygienist

Schedule: 4-Day Work Week | Monday – Thursday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours/week; daily 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM lunch break)

Position Summary

A premier, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Auburn, NY is looking for a caring and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join their growing dental practice.

Operating out of a new, modern health center with advanced clinical tools and technology, you will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care to a diverse patient base. The facility prioritizes provider satisfaction by allowing you to choose the instruments and products you prefer for patient care, while offering a structured 4-day work week with Fridays through Sundays off and 45-minute hygiene appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive oral hygiene treatments, prophylaxes, scaling and root planing, fluoride applications, and dental sealants.
• Conduct oral screenings, periodontal probing, intraoral assessments, capture digital X-rays, and accurately document findings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, post-treatment care, and healthy habits.
• Manage a structured patient schedule, maintaining punctual care delivery and patient comfort.
• Adhere to strict sterilization and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RDH and Dental License in New York.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; Infection Control certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with Dentrix or MEDENT software preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation Note

The annual salary range is based on a 40-hour work week and will depend on experience and qualifications.
