The Design Engineer will be tasked with the responsibility of creating, developing, and enhancing electrical components. This position will entail working closely with various teams to devise innovative solutions that satisfy the requirements for performance, efficiency, and dependability.
- Create intricate designs for electrical components.
- Construct prototypes and perform tests to validate designs, address any issues, and enhance performance metrics like efficiency, torque, and longevity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to guarantee that designs are feasible for production, cost-effective, comply with industry standards, and ensure product specifications are met or exceeded.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Recognize opportunities to refine designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and decreased production expenses.
- Verify that designs adhere to applicable industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Oversee multiple design projects concurrently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 1-6 years of experience in design engineering.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
