Job Title: Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician

Location: Columbus, OH

The Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician will be responsible for daily maintenance as well as non-routine maintenance of equipment and facility. This position will involve performing maintenance activities for both electrical and mechanical systems. The technician will assist equipment operators and mechanics in operating and troubleshooting plant equipment and systems. Additionally, the role will require supporting project installation and start-up throughout the plant on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

Electrical:

• Basic knowledge of PLC programming
• Fundamental understanding of Electrical power - including voltages, amps, etc.
• Ability to read schematic drawings and install electrical equipment according to the schematic
• Calibration of drives and equipment such as meters, temperature controllers, level controllers, and servo controllers
• Testing and repairing electrical systems and devices, such as motors, switches, and solenoids. Running conduit and pulling wire as needed

Mechanical:

• Welding, operating TIG/MIG/Plasma cutters, grinders, drills, and basic machining
• Performing pipe fabrication and layout based on drawings
• Understanding and repairing mechanical equipment including pumps, seals (including mechanical seals), hydraulic operated machines, gearboxes, valves, air compressors, boilers, and associated support equipment
• Knowledge of lubricating oils and greases
