Quality Control Manager
Location: Budd Lake, NJ
Hiring company specializes in medical instrumentation manufacturing. We are seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Quality to lead our quality and compliance initiatives, develop our team, and enhance manufacturing controls. This role will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure high-quality standards across all processes.
The ideal candidate will oversee the manufacturing quality system, guide the quality team members, and drive continuous improvement in quality practices. Responsibilities include coaching team members, providing quality leadership on the production floor, resolving production issues efficiently, and conducting QMS training.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in medical device manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience
- Proficiency in manufacturing quality systems, nonconformance, CAPA, investigations, audits, and more
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, and ISO 14971
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality systems
- ASQ certifications are a plus
- 10% travel required (domestic and international)
