Responsibilities:
Research and analyze assigned commodities for purchasing decisions, develop key performance metrics for supply chain areas, create business flow process diagrams, and compile findings for senior team members.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and commodity management, working knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies, familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools, strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, a BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience, willingness to learn, open to 20% to 30% travel, exposure to commodities like castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics, and APICS certification would be a plus.
