Position Summary

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC machining programs for precision components. Working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams, this individual will ensure efficient manufacturing processes, accurate programming, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize CNC programs for milling operations
  • Program custom components and tooling for production
  • Develop machining methods and tooling strategies
  • Set up and support CNC milling machines during production
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate CNC programs on production equipment
  • Modify programs to reflect engineering changes and product revisions
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining efficiency
  • Maintain programming documentation and revision control
  • Support process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality
  • Ensure all programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree preferred (Engineering or Manufacturing Technology)
  • Minimum 5 years of CNC Programming experience
  • Strong experience programming CNC milling machines
  • Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred

  • CATIA experience
  • Epicor ERP experience
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience with complex precision-machined components
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
