Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer is responsible for designing instrumentation and control systems to support customers and company projects. The engineer specifies components and software from various manufacturers to meet project specifications and produces Industrial Control Panel designs that meet UL508A/698 requirements. The I&C Engineer collaborates with the engineering staff to support jobs and proposal activities.

This is a mid-level position, and potential career progressions include roles such as Senior I&C Engineer, System Architect or Senior Systems Engineer.

• Industrial Control Panel design - MUST HAVE
• Component and design submittal preparation
• Technical documentation preparation including operation and maintenance manuals
• Obtain/maintain certification as a UL Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR)

• Experience working with integrated processes or electrical control systems
• Proficient or able to quickly gain proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
• Demonstrate sound understanding of electrical principles
• Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement principles
• Ability to reason and apply critical thinking
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, sit, crouch or lay for extended periods
• Possess and maintain valid driver's license and other required identifications
