Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist – 2nd shift

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: $60-65K

Job Summary of the Inventory Control Specialist: The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory, filling orders, and maintaining accurate records of supplies in a warehouse setting.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Specialist:

• Receive merchandise, check for damage, and verify freight bill
• Fill orders, pack and label items, and verify completeness
• Prepare orders for carrier service, maintain carrier records
• Control inventory through physical counts, reconciliation with inventory system, and notifying purchasing department
• Provide information, input and generate data, and complete forms
• Support other departments by establishing routine deliveries and supply needs
• Maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain safe and clean working environment, comply with procedures

Education & Experience Requirements of the Inventory Control Specialist:

• Associate's degree (2-year degree) required
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to drive and operate equipment, complete required inspection
• Physically able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to work 2nd shift
