SENIOR IT MANAGER
Role Summary
The Senior IT Manager will oversee all IT operations for a large-scale manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, business systems support, end-user support, cybersecurity controls, IT project execution, and plant technology readiness.
Position Scope
The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, coordinating end-user support, overseeing ERP/business application support, ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place, managing IT assets, vendors, documentation, and technology readiness for plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Leading the overall IT function within the site
- Managing IT infrastructure including LAN, WAN, servers, and cloud systems
- Providing end-user support and help desk services
- Coordinating ERP and business applications support
- Supporting manufacturing and plant IT systems
- Overseeing cybersecurity controls and risk management
Required Qualifications
Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, 8-12 years of progressive IT experience with leadership roles, experience in managing IT infrastructure, help desk, networking, servers, cybersecurity, and business applications, as well as experience in manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations, exposure to IT/OT environments, knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, and relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or CISSP.
Leadership Expectations
The Senior IT Manager must be hands-on, responsive, and able to work with executives, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate IT escalations effectively. The ideal candidate will bring structure, technical expertise, and customer-service focus to support the organization's growth and digitalization.
