Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: $75,000 - $88,000

Job Summary of the Production Supervisor:

The Production Supervisor will join the manufacturing team to support the Director of Operations and Production Manager. This role involves supervising staff, organizing workflow, acting as a quality inspector, serving as a safety coordinator, material handler, and trainer for the designated area of responsibility.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

• Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring workflow, resolving problems, and reporting results.
• Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, assessing performance, coaching, and enforcing procedures.
• Maintain staff by selecting, orienting, training, and developing growth opportunities.
• Monitor workflow, observe control points, and implement cost reductions.
• Identify and address safety concerns, act as quality inspector, and ensure materials are available for production.
• Provide manufacturing information, communicate job expectations, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Contribute to the team effort and accomplish related results as needed.

Education & Experience of the Production Supervisor:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of Supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and generate results through others.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with understanding of Microsoft products.
