THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Oversee field activities on projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations while meeting quality and schedule goals
- Build a team environment for foremen and operators to excel
- Manage foremen and lead men on multiple projects
- Coordinate project activities, client meetings, and pre-construction meetings
- Ensure project materials, layout, and equipment deliveries are on time
- Maintain erosion control inspections and project compliance
- Participate in recruiting, training, and safety meetings
- Communicate project details, schedules, and billing information to the office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Equipment operation, maintenance, and safety
- Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations
- Site preparation techniques and utility installations
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Understanding of road construction and maintenance practices
- Workplace safety requirements
