Job Title: Strategic Project Engineering Manager

Location: Cumming, GA

Salary: $115K – 145K plus bonus

Job Summary:

In this role, you will work closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and develop innovative solutions. As an expert in project management for equipment automation, you will tackle complex challenges and bring visionary concepts to life.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop preliminary designs and specifications for engineering and materials
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, and economic analyses
• Determine design criteria based on standards and codes
• Review engineering projects for accuracy and guide vendors and contractors
• Coordinate project schedules and alignment with management and engineering teams
• Provide direction to equipment vendors for layouts and installations
• Review work products submitted by consultants
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Conduct engineering planning and design reviews
• Prepare reports for management and maintain financial control throughout projects

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience
• 2+ years in a leadership position
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to collaborate and travel to other locations
• Experience in food processing and meat industry projects
• Previous management of multi-million dollar projects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
