An esteemed healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is in search of a Radiation Oncologist who is Board Certified or Board Eligible to join their growing physician-led practice. Situated in the Greater Chicagoland area, just a short 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago, this position offers a unique blend of subspecialty clinical practice, advanced hospital facilities, and excellent work-life balance. The practice environment is HIMSS Stage VII certified, featuring full EPIC EHR integration with state-of-the-art AI capabilities. Collaborate with a supportive team of medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation therapists, and dedicated clinical staff within a financially stable health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and treatment planning for adult oncology patients
  • Develop precise radiation treatment plans using advanced techniques
  • Manage radiation-related toxicities and provide long-term follow-up care for survivors
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-site care teams
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology and EPIC EHR with AI-driven enhancements
  • Contribute to clinical quality improvement, radiation safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology by the ABR
  • Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license
