An esteemed healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is in search of a Neurosurgeon who is Board Certified or Board Eligible to join their growing group practice led by physicians. Situated in the Greater Chicagoland area just a half hour away from downtown Chicago, this position offers a mix of a busy surgical practice, advanced hospital facilities, and strong professional support. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive cranial and complex/general spine neurosurgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in the operating room.
- Conduct clinical assessments, patient evaluations, and perform necessary neurosurgical procedures.
- Participate in a shared neurosurgery call rotation.
- Utilize advanced surgical technologies, intraoperative imaging, and EPIC EHR with AI-enhanced documentation.
- Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team including neurologists, orthopedic spine surgeons, pain management specialists, and critical care teams.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts, safety protocols, and optimal patient care pathways.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a US medical school or its international equivalent (MD or DO).
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurological Surgery residency program; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
- Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligibility for state licensure within 90–120 days).
- Demonstrated expertise in general neurosurgery and/or specialized fellowship areas (e.g., spine, vascular, skull base, neuro-oncology).
