Quality Administrator
Quality Control Specialist - Orlando, FL
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed inspection masters for each job, including blueprint analysis and creation of inspection reports, first piece reports, and shipping data sheets.
- Review customer purchase orders to ensure compliance with requirements before shipment.
- Generate Certificates of Conformance and maintain copies of quality documentation for accompanying each shipment.
- Ensure timely and organized record-keeping practices by closing and inspecting file folders.
- Identify changes in job packets that may impact quality and promptly notify the QA Manager.
- Perform additional assigned duties to contribute to the smooth operation of the quality department.
Requirements:
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting blueprint drawings accurately.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding manufacturing requirements.
- Familiarity with various raw materials and manufacturing processes for informed quality decision-making.
- Knowledgeable in modern office methods, procedures, filing systems, and office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under supervision, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or trade school education.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a quality-related role.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
