Job Title: Plant Engineer

Location: Wilson, North Carolina

Salary: $140-172K plus bonus

Job Summary:

As the leader of the maintenance and engineering department in a fast-paced plant, you'll be responsible for maintaining top-tier building and equipment performance. Your role involves reducing mechanical downtime and ensuring seamless product flow to keep production lines running at peak efficiency. You'll be instrumental in implementing maintenance systems such as Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, and more, driving the plant to new heights as part of a High-Performing Manufacturing Organization.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and schedule capital projects from concept to completion to minimize disruption to plant operations
• Develop and implement cutting-edge maintenance systems to optimize plant performance
• Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks
• Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions to operational challenges
• Drive continuous improvement by tracking Key Performance Indicators

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 8+ years’ relevant experience; or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in team management/development or project leadership
• High level of leadership, planning, teamwork, and analytical skills
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems like Preventive Maintenance and TPM
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
