Manufacturing Engineer – foundry
GENERAL SUMMARY:
An established company in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work at a plant in the southwest area of the metropolitan area. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and designing manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software such as SolidWorks.
- Implement productivity improvements for current production lines.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend design changes using statistical methods.
- Design and implement production processes for new and existing products.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Must have experience with 3D modeling software, Microsoft Office, and project management. Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
