Job Opening: Foundry Manufacturing Engineer

General Summary:

An established company in Newnan, GA is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The company has a large market share in their industry and offers a positive working culture. The position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will involve planning and designing manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. The selected candidate will work on maximizing efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend changes using statistical methods.
• Design and implement production processes for new and existing products.
• Participate in cross functional teams to ensure optimal productivity methods.

Education/Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office is required. Project management and automation experience, as well as formal industry experience, are desired. Foundry experience is a plus.
