Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd shift
Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin
Salary: $80-100K plus bonus
Job Summary of the Maintenance Supervisor:
The 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance teams in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment throughout the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. Responsibilities include ensuring key processes are maintained, product flows are optimized, and production lines run efficiently to contribute to the overall success of the facility.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:
- Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repairs.
- Provide training on work methods and safety procedures.
- Supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation.
- Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production.
- Develop effective maintenance systems and implement SOPs, safety measures, and more.
- Provide solutions for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures.
- Monitor and report maintenance performance through KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
- Support employee development and coaching for positive leadership.
Education & Experience Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience required. Food Manufacturing background or similar industry experience desired. Skills in ammonia refrigeration, electro-mechanics, root cause analysis, and leadership preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical skills in various fields necessary for success in a manufacturing environment.
