Job Title: Human Resources Generalist/Training & Development Specialist

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Salary: $70K – 90K plus bonus

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist/Training & Development Specialist is a key member of the HR team, responsible for leading learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, engagement, and overall business success. This role also provides HR support across various functions as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including course creation, updates, and reporting.
• Maintain training records and analyze learning effectiveness.
• Train managers on LMS functionality and conduct training sessions.
• Coordinate and deliver new hire onboarding training.
• Manage training logistics and ensure timely distribution of materials.
• Administer external funding opportunities to support training initiatives.
• Design and deliver learning programs across multiple modalities.
• Partner with SMEs to develop technical/product training and safety programs.
• Promote continuous learning culture and support employee development.
• Provide coaching and guidance to implement development plans.
• Support HR functions as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning & development.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and training tools.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training software.
• Experience in e-learning, webinars, and course creation preferred.
• Video and audio editing experience is a plus.
• Experience in building leadership development programs preferred.
