Finance Manager
Location: Elizabethtown, KY - US - Hybrid role allowing remote work 2 days a week
Reports To: Group Finance Director
Position Overview:
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and core financial processes. This position reports to the Group Finance Director based overseas in Europe. The U.S. headquarters is located in Louisville, KY and is currently in an expansion phase. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate month-end close, cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and regulatory compliance.
This role involves collaborating with various departments such as operations, engineering, and executive leadership to provide financial insights into project performance, capital expenditures, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Close & Reporting:
- Lead and manage the monthly close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Oversee Blackline reconciliations and system uploads
- Produce monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Present financial results to leadership
Forecasting, Cash Flow & FP&A:
- Own the 13-week cash flow forecast
- Support monthly rolling forecasts and budget updates
- Analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and budget
- Provide financial insights and recommendations
Compliance, Tax & Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with external advisors and auditors
Project & Capital Accounting:
- Partner with engineering and operations to track CAPEX and project budgets
- Monitor project costs and timelines
- Manage asset capitalization processes
Process Improvement & Systems:
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Drive automation and efficiency in financial systems
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide oversight and guidance to accounting staff
- Serve as a finance partner to operations and leadership
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred, MBA a plus
- 8-12+ years of experience in accounting/finance
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP and financial systems
- Advanced Excel skills, Power BI a plus

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with tax credits and incentives
- Project or capital accounting experience
- Multi-entity or international exposure
Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00
