An established, highly regarded healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is in search of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing, physician-led group practice. Situated just a short 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago, this role provides a fantastic opportunity for a thriving clinical subspecialty practice within a state-of-the-art hospital environment, all while maintaining an exceptional work-life balance. Practice in a HIMSS Stage VII environment with full EPIC EHR integration and advanced AI features. Work alongside a supportive team of physicians and advanced practice providers dedicated to helping you build a successful endocrinology practice tailored to your interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adult endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic health.
  • Perform thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspirations (FNA) when clinically necessary.
  • Collaborate with a diverse network of healthcare professionals including primary care providers, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators.
  • Utilize cutting-edge clinical tools and EPIC EHR with AI-driven features for documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and quality improvement projects within the health system.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients through personalized care planning.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
  • Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).
  • Passion for managing complex endocrinology cases with a patient-centered approach.
