Engineering Designer Position in Brodhead, WI
Our client, a well-established manufacturer of agricultural equipment with over 198 years of experience, is seeking a talented Design Engineer to focus on the design and redesign of large agricultural equipment pieces. This role will report to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
- Design or redesign feed mixers for livestock using Creo
- Develop product designs based on customer needs, manufacturability, cost, and safety
- Collaborate with various teams to develop design specifications and test plans
- Select hydraulic, power transmission, and structural components
- Work on new manufacturing processes and tools with the manufacturing team
- Stay updated on industry trends and communicate relevant information to team members
Requirements
- BS in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering
- 1+ year of experience in designing agricultural or heavy mobile equipment
- Proficient in 3D CAD, specifically Creo
- Knowledge of metal fabrication, machining, and welding is a plus
- Background in farming is beneficial
