Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000 per year

Location: Great Falls, Montana
We are in collaboration with a primary healthcare organization committed to becoming the preferred healthcare provider in Montana, catering to over 250,000 residents across 17 regional counties. Presently, we are in search of a full-time, devoted Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join their team. With exceptional nurse-to-patient ratios, this facility ensures personalized care in a close-knit environment focused on teamwork, safety, and cutting-edge medical technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients from admission through discharge, requiring advanced physiological monitoring.
- Operate and manage advanced cardiac and life-support equipment, including mechanical ventilators, central lines, and arterial lines.
- Monitor and manage patients utilizing advanced cardiac assist devices like intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella pumps.
- Lead the clinical team, offering guidance and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other hospital staff.
- Collaborate with Providers, Charge Nurses, and nurse leadership in implementing evidence-based care plans and discharge planning.
- Maintain timely electronic documentation of patient status, interventions, and clinical outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS within 6 months of hire. EPNC and TNCC preferred.
- Required Experience: Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced unit with recent Critical Care/ICU experience related to cardiovascular surgery patients.
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset.
