Controller – North America

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas

A thriving North American manufacturing company is in search of a skilled Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and manufacturing cost accounting across various facilities.

This position will supervise the accounting team and collaborate closely with plant management, commercial teams, and corporate finance to enhance financial accuracy, boost reporting precision, aid in operational decision-making, and uphold audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations, encompassing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure punctual, precise financial reporting.
• Create and uphold accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Collaborate with plant and commercial leaders on budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis, cost management, and profitability reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is obligatory.
• CPA and/or master’s degree is a plus.
• 15–20 years of advancing accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least three years of supervising or leading experience.
