Job Opening: PLC Panel Programmer

Location: Atlanta, GA

GENERAL SUMMARY:
A well-established company in the manufacturing industry in Atlanta, GA is looking for a Controls Technician to work on the day shift from 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be involved in cell design, controls integration, and installation of automated equipment. Responsibilities include building and programming PLC panels, configuring and troubleshooting controls, and maintaining automated systems.

Responsibilities:

• Pneumatics: Installation of air logic controls
• Hydraulic: Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits
• PLC systems troubleshooting
• Installation, programming, and repair of controllers
• Maintenance tasks using knowledge of fabrication equipment

Other duties include operating equipment, analyzing events, collaborating with engineers and the production team, conducting preventative maintenance, repairing machine controls, disassembling equipment for repairs, and training others.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 6 years of related experience
• PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting
• Panel building and electrical experience
• Some robotic experience
• Safety circuit integration knowledge
