Senior Procurement Analyst Position

Our client is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst (Senior Buyer) to take the lead in sourcing activities for new product development and existing products within their assigned commodity space, working closely with the Director of Sourcing. This role involves independently developing, implementing, and executing Category/Subcategory and Supplier Strategies for non-globally driven categories. Responsibilities

- Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships

- Manage $30 to $50 million commodity spend, develop sourcing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Lead negotiations, execute master supplier agreements, analyze purchase volumes, manage quoting and negotiations

- Lead supplier selection process for Global and Regional strategies, mentor new team members

Requirements

- Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management

- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing

- Exposure to commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics

- Working knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Understanding of timeline development and cost structures

- BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent

- Open to 20% to 30% travel

- APICS Certification would be a plus
