Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – Night Shift

Location: Kinston, North Carolina

Salary: $80K – 100K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading maintenance teams in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment in the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. This role will help ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and maximize production efficiency. By overseeing key processes, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining product flows and production lines, ultimately contributing to the facility's overall success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor:

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, as well as machine repairs.
• Supervise and support maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for optimal performance.
• Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance systems (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOPs, Safety, etc.).
• Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures.

Education & Experience Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience providing training, coaching, or mentoring to staff.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced technical skills in various fields and knowledge of maintenance systems.

Additional Skills and Preferences:

• Ability to work long hours and weekends.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, compressed air, and mechanical and electrical fields.
• Strong leadership, planning, and priority-setting skills.
• Team-oriented and able to build positive working relationships.
• Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
