Position: CNC Machining Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duties:

• Overseeing turnkey projects, demonstrations, and various customer projects to ensure timely completion within budget
• Conducting pre-sale activities such as customer visits, evaluating opportunities, assessing machines, providing part processing recommendations, and creating turnkey proposals
• Developing and implementing custom demonstrations, as well as training customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes, and multi-tasking machines
• Training customers in safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes, and multi-tasking machines
• Providing accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Traveling to customer sites for on-site training and engineering assistance

Qualifications:

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
• Holding and maintaining a deep knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
• Familiarity with Fanuc based controls, with 5-axis experience considered a plus
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software is preferred, but not required
• Ability to think quickly, assess situations, and make sound decisions
