Fountain Technical Product Manager

We are in search of a Fountain Technical Product Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of our beverage dispensing products at our Carol Stream, IL location. In this position, you will be responsible for managing essential product specifications, collaborating closely with Marketing Product Managers, and helping to guide the product roadmap for both established offerings and new product development.

You will serve as a vital link between customers, commercial teams, and engineering to ensure that our products meet real-world needs, deliver on performance expectations, and contribute to long-term commercial success. As an individual contributor, this role carries a strong technical focus and offers high visibility throughout the organization.

This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with flexibility for the remainder of the week.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new beverage dispensing products or enhance existing ones
Conduct market research, gather customer requirements, and translate them into precise product specifications and roadmaps
Develop compelling business cases for new fountain beverage equipment and features
Work with project teams to manage timelines, budgets, resources, and priorities to keep programs on target
Create and oversee technical requirements that align with customer and business performance expectations
Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs comply with standards, regulations, and technical feasibility
Assist reliability teams in verifying that products meet durability and performance goals
Monitor and grasp industry regulations, safety requirements, and certification standards (UL, NSF, CE, etc.)
Support technical service and warranty teams in resolving product issues while maintaining product performance and functionality

Skills & Experience That Matter

Thorough understanding of fountain beverage dispensing systems
Hands-on experience in engineering fountain systems for QSR or convenience-store settings
Experience in directly engaging with customers to define requirements and project scope
Solid background in writing or contributing to technical specifications
Ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, simple terms
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
Experience in diagnosing and addressing product quality or performance issues
Sound comprehension of electromechanical systems and subsystem interactions
Familiarity with safety, compliance, and certification requirements (UL, NSF, CE, etc.)
