Pain Medicine Physician

An established, highly regarded healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is in search of a Pain Medicine Physician who is Board Certified or Board Eligible to join their growing group practice led by physicians.

Located only 30 minutes away from downtown Chicago, this position offers a subspecialty practice in a high-tech hospital environment while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. EHR integration using EPIC with modern AI functionality is in place to support your practice. Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians who are willing to mentor and assist you in creating a practice that aligns with your clinical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Perform interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure suite settings
• Collaborate with spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, physical therapists, and primary care physicians
• Use advanced clinical tools and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements
• Adhere to federal, state, and health system guidelines for controlled substance management and patient safety
• Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school (MD or DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology pathway)
• Active Indiana medical license (or eligibility within 90-120 days)
• Proficiency in interventional pain modalities and multidisciplinary care planning
