Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Job Summary of the Industrial Engineer:

The Industrial Engineer will take charge of identifying issues that hinder product flow, utilizing lean principles to alleviate process bottlenecks and reduce work in progress (WIP). This role involves overseeing the IE operators and technicians, providing guidance, and enhancing their skills and performance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Industrial Engineer:

• Lead and execute lean activities like 5S, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.
• Drive the professional growth of facility Leads, Supervisors, and Managers by initiating proactive changes that promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts, and flow.
• Oversee continuous improvement initiatives across all functional areas, including manufacturing and office spaces.
• Create detailed plans, manage project performance, and ensure timely completion of improvement projects and savings targets.
• Develop equipment and machine layouts, workflow designs, and safety measures to maximize plant and manufacturing facility utilization.
• Take a leading role in equipment capital expenditures, from design and vendor selection to procurement and implementation.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to craft a continuous improvement strategy that drives top-tier performance.
• Develop capacity modeling, production planning tools, and time standards for capacity enhancement.

Education & Experience Requirements of Industrial Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is a MUST!
• At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.
• Proficiency in data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving within industrial services.
• Demonstrated ability to implement throughput improvement processes.
• Familiarity with LEAN principles.
• Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the flexibility to prioritize critical tasks effectively.
