Job Opening: Controls Technician

Location: Newnan, GA

We are a well-established company with a strong presence in the market, offering a positive work environment. We are currently seeking a Controls Technician for our day shift, working from 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. This position involves participating in cell design, integrating controls, installing automated equipment, building and programming PLC panels, and getting them operational.

The responsibilities of this role include:

1. Installing air logic controls based on prints or schematics.
2. Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits with various components.
3. Troubleshooting PLC systems using a computer.
4. Installing, programming, and repairing programmable controllers.
5. Utilizing knowledge of fabrication equipment for maintenance tasks.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Operating equipment and analyzing events within the equipment.
• Collaborating with engineers and the production team to meet output goals.
• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on controls, systems, and tools.
• Training others on equipment installation, operation, and maintenance.

Experience required:

• Minimum of 6 years in a related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Experience in panel building and electrical work.
• Some knowledge of robotics and safety circuit integration.
