Supply Chain Specialist – 1st & 2nd shifts

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: $60-65K

Job Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist is tasked with fulfilling inventory requests through the receipt and distribution of parts and supplies to production departments.

• Receives merchandise by unloading vehicles; checks for damage; verifies freight bill.
• Fills orders by identifying requested items; pulls from stock; packs and labels items; verifies completeness.
• Prepares orders for carrier service by packing and labeling merchandise for delivery or pickup.
• Controls inventory by conducting physical counts; reconciles with inventory system; notifies purchasing department of reorder points; manages unused supplies and equipment.
• Provides information by answering questions; inputting data; completing forms.
• Supports other departments by establishing routine deliveries; determining supply needs.
• Maintains warehouse vehicles and equipment; cleans; performs preventive maintenance; reports problems to supervisor.
• Maintains safe working environment by following procedures and regulations.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to drive and operate equipment
