Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Omaha, NE

Salary: $80-1000K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Senior Quality Engineer: The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading quality initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring that our products consistently exceed customer expectations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to enhance processes, adhere to ISO 9001 standards, drive quality improvement efforts, and promote a culture of Quality Planning. The Senior Quality Engineer will establish controls to ensure that welded, machined, and formed metal products meet engineering specifications, welding codes, and customer tolerances. Additionally, the Sr Quality Engineer will lead advanced product quality planning activities for the assigned site and ensure that inspection and test plans are defined, implemented, and maintained in the manufacturing environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Engineer:

• Participate in and lead Quality in advanced product quality planning activities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and QA systems.
• Create control plans, PFMEA, and Quality plans for legacy or new products or projects.
• Manage Product and Process qualifications.
• Monitor Rejects and CARs performance and trends for assigned site.
• Lead Advanced Quality through the organization.
• Drive advanced root cause analysis.
• Oversee QMS Certification compliance.
• Manage Audit Schedule as assigned.
• Standardize tools and processes.

Education & Experience Requirements of the Senior Quality Engineer:

• 4-year degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Four or more years of related experience and/or training
• 2+ years Certified Quality Engineer
• 3+ years Practical experience in APQP
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, weldments, assemblies, and fabrication
• Mechanical aptitude to assemble/disassemble per engineering drawings
