Compensation: $200,000 – $295,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, daytime schedule, in-person (outpatient)
We are looking for a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team in East Saint Louis, IL. Our organization focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient healthcare services to a diverse and underserved patient population. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Deliver preventive care, health screenings, and wellness services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care
- Collaborate with clinical teams and coordinate specialty referrals
- Provide culturally competent care with social determinants of health in mind
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care coordination
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record
- Engage in clinical meetings, team collaboration, and community health initiatives
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in outpatient or community-based care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team-oriented approach
