Compensation: $200,000 – $295,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in-person (clinical + academic)
We are in search of a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join a dedicated academic outpatient healthcare organization that is affiliated with a Family Medicine residency program. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, as well as teaching, supervising, and mentoring family medicine residents. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative academic setting alongside residents, faculty colleagues, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, while delivering exceptional community-focused family medicine care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a family medicine continuity clinic
- Supervise and mentor family medicine residents in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Participate in clinical sessions with integrated resident supervision
- Engage in inpatient attending coverage for family medicine services
- Conduct and supervise family medicine procedures, including obstetrics
- Participate in resident education through didactics, curriculum development, and advising
- Collaborate with faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary clinical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical and academic standards
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in teaching and resident supervision
- Comfort practicing the full scope of family medicine, including obstetrics
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
