HOW YOU WILL HAVE IMPACT
As the Lead Supply Chain Strategist, you will collaborate with different departments to manage and optimize various aspects of the supply chain, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory planning, work order prioritization, and contract compliance, among other duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain deadlines to meet customer expectations and contractual commitments.
- Optimize MRP signals to support production and inventory flow.
- Collaborate with other departments to address manufacturing issues and maintain efficiency.
- Monitor schedules, track performance, and mitigate risks to delivery timelines.
- Identify and address end-of-life inventory and new product implementations.
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Offer guidance and training on planning software to the team.
- Adhere to safety and ISO procedures.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in industries like machining, defense, aerospace, retail, or bioscience.
- Expertise in MRP and supply chain management.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems like Oracle EBS.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be located near Rochester, NH or willing to relocate.
- US citizenship or permanent residency required.
