We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare organization dedicated to providing critically needed primary care to underserved and uninsured populations throughout the Los Angeles area. We are currently seeking a full-time, Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their clinical team in Harbor City. Designed for a culturally competent, fluent Spanish-speaking provider, this position focuses on delivering vital OB-GYN and prenatal care within an environment that truly moves the needle on community health.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for women across the lifespan, with a heavy emphasis on routine and complex prenatal care management.
- Deliver culturally sensitive healthcare services entirely in both English and Spanish to meet the linguistic needs of the local patient population.
- Manage a steady and efficient outpatient workflow, averaging approximately 20 to 24 patient encounters per day.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized patient management plans, monitor prenatal progress, and ensure meticulous continuity of care.
- Educate patients on prenatal wellness, nutrition, family planning, and postpartum care, making specialized external referrals when high-risk maternal-fetal interventions are required.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient visits, lab orders, and diagnostic follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a specialization or strong clinical focus in Women's Health / OB-GYN.
- Active, unrestricted California state licensure as an NP or PA in good standing.
- National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Linguistic Skill: Complete bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strictly required to ensure effective patient triage and clinical communication.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of dedicated, post-graduate professional work experience directly managing prenatal and obstetric patient populations is required.
- Valid DEA registration and up-to-date BLS/CPR certification.
